We, Vortex Co., Ltd., Reiki Healing System, one of the leading Reiki schools in Japan, have created a new CD. The title is "Reiki from Japan , the Universe".

The CD is a new sound system produced for the Reiki healers to practice Reiki healing effectively.
We have pioneered in spreading Reiki in Japan and have been seeking the ways for the Reiki healers to practice in the best condition, which has led us to the creation of a series of CDs for Reiki healers.

This CD is the first release of the series. The theme this time is (pronounced "Sora"), the Universe. With this CD, we would like to send our message to the Reiki practitioners around the world.

When this CD is played, the environment appropriate for Reiki will be created and be further energized, which will support the healers to step up to a new dimension. When you listen to the music, you will feel as if you were experiencing the beginning of the earth, where a flash of light shone in the chaos, the earth was just beginning to form, a gust of wind blew the clouds away and the clear sky emerged.

The bass part is played on a cello, which is said to be a musical instrument having human image, and a Batou-kin (a Mongolian string), which is said to be the cello of the field. These strings sing of the creation of the earth, followed by the brilliant percussion expressing the formation of the order of the Universe.

For the convenience of the Reiki practitioners, a sound of mechanically recreated Doutaku is rung every 2.5 minutes. Doutaku is a Japanese ancient musical instrument, which is said to have been used also in a religious ceremony to make contact with the Universe. You'll be sure to enjoy the experience to be surrounded by the world woven by these various musical instruments.

By using the latest sound system, we succeeded in realizing the CD which can be reproduced with sound almost the same as 5.1ch (the stereo sound employed in movies or DVD) even by simple CD players of home use. We are glad to introduce to you the second CD of our "Reiki from Japan Series." This CD was created with the Earth (mother earth) as its main theme.

This CD consists of three parts; the image of receiving and savoring the energy from the Universe; the process of the birth and growth of life; and the finale of the energy soaring up into the heaven and then covering everything. In order to express these images brilliantly, a newly-created musical instrument is featured throughout the music.

The instrument is called "Stringraphy". Stringraphy is made up with pairs of poles erected on the floor and sets of silk strings stretched between the poles. These strings number more than 100 in all. Sounds are made by scratching the strings with gloved fingers and thumbs. The strings of bass part are longer than 100 meters.

In ancient times, at the dawn of human music, human beings picked the leaves of mulberry trees which grew protruding from the earth like fists, gave the leaves to silkworms, spun silk from the cocoon, stretched the silk string between the mulberry trees and enjoyed the sounds made from the strings. Those sounds have been reproduced by Stringraphy, through the poles erected between the heaven and the earth and the strings whose vibration vibrate the earth. We are sure that you will feel profoundly the primitive sound of music played on this instrument.

As with the first CD of this series, the sound of awareness is inserted every 2 minutes and a half so that you can practice self-healing with Reiki without bothering about the time.
